SCOPE OF WORK
Job Title - Installation Contractor
Wage - $35.00 per hour
Location - San Francisco Bay Area
Schedule - On-Call
DESCRIPTION OF WORK
You will be on-call for various types of installations throughout the SF Bay Area. During an installation, you will be asked to assemble and place ready-made furnishings, install wall - mounted items (sometimes heavy objects like televisions and whiteboards), cable management, place decor, and assist with the hauling of recyclable materials.
Each job has different needs and varies in the way that it is supervised. Large jobs are guided directly by a Project Manager, to which you will play a role in a team setting. Other jobs are smaller, and you may be working directly with our client using our installation plans as a guide.
We will contact you by phone or email asking your availability for a given job. In some cases, a client may contact you directly, to which we will notify you in advance.

FAQs
TRANSPORTATION - We ask that manage your own transportation. For some projects, we have a carpool coming from Oakland, but it is your responsibility to check in beforehand.
ENVIRONMENT - We are often working while the client is at the location, so be mindful of noise and egress. Notify your manager of anything you foresee that may be disruptive to the client.
TOOLS - When we work as a team, we have enough tools to share amongst the crew. You are welcome to bring your own tools on the job site, but we are not responsible if they break or go missing.
INVOICING - It is your responsibility to submit your invoice(s) within 30 days of work. Invoices must include your full name, mailing address, phone number, email address, location of work (or client name), brief description of work completed per day, number of hours worked, and your hourly rate ($35/hr). Any invoice submitted more than 30 days after job completion will not be paid.
QUALITY OF WORK - We expect you to check in regularly with the project manager to make sure all tasks are completed to our standards. If there are adjustments that need to be made, be prepared to take the extra time to complete the tasks.
DRESS CODE - A dress code is not enforced, but we prefer all black attire that you are comfortable moving in. This is a job site, so sensible footwear is required.
CONFLICTS - Please report back to us any onsite issues, communication problems, accidents, etc. with anyone you encounter on site. You should feel safe and respected while working with us.
